“Small coffee shop, vending machines, bathrooms and a small area for seating. It's a moderately sized station that's clean and safe with a solid police presence. In the decades of using this station there has never been any serious incidents and you will never feel unsafe. There is a bus stop out front and you will be within walking distance of the Providence Place mall.”
— Michael H“It was good experience traveling from Providence to South Station with Amtrak”
— Lila Baniya“7/29/21. Visiting Providence for the Newport Jazz Festival. Took Amtrak from New York, About 4 hours easy riding, 2 problems Amtrak please Mandate earphones for ALL portable devices including the elderly and kids entertainment device. Mary had a little lamb 25 time!!”
— Darlene jackson“It's currently undergoing significant renovations and it's like walking through a war zone. Lots of walled up areas and blocked signs. Restrooms are hidden down a makeshift plywall hallway. Restrooms had sinks that didn't run or paper towels. The one snack shop closes mid day so if you are there after 2pm don't plan on any food outside of the vending machine.”
— Andy ZYes, significant renovations are ongoing which may impact some amenities and signage. Plan extra time for navigation.
